How to make fake Pokemon cards shiny

First off, making fake cards ain't cool, but if you're doing it for personal art projects or something non-profit, maybe try using a little iridescent or holographic foil. You can find these materials at most craft stores. Cut the foil to the size of the card and carefully glue it on. For that authentic 'shiny' look, place it under the card's picture before sealing it with a transparent adhesive film. Remember, keep it legit and only for fun!

Honestly, just don't. Making fakes, even shinies, could get you in trouble. Plus, it undermines the value of real cards and the hard work of collectors.

I've seen people use metallic sharpies or even nail polish to add sparkle to their card projects. It's all about being creative but remember, never pass these off as real.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
