How to make custom Funko Pops
InterferingHood·8 months agoFirst up, you're gonna want some basics: a blank Funko Pop, acrylic paints, and a fine detail brush. Think of it like customizing your mini avatar! You can either sculpt new parts with air-dry clay or modify existing pieces for that personal touch. Don't forget to seal it with a clear coat to keep your masterpiece looking fresh!

I made one for my buddy’s birthday, turned his band’s lead singer into a Funko Pop. My advice? Patience is key, especially when painting. Thin your paint to avoid clumping and give it plenty of time to dry between coats. Also, practice sketching your design before you start painting directly on the Pop!
Hot take: just buy the one you want. Making customs is fun, but time ≠ money, folks.
