Making Geometry Dash in Construct 2 isn't too tough! Start by creating your sprite for the player, like a cube. Then, work on the mechanics, such as jumping and collision with obstacles. Use the event sheets in Construct 2 for the game logic, like when to jump and how to react upon hitting obstacles. Don't forget to add a killer soundtrack to match the rhythm-based gameplay. There are plenty of tutorials out there that can guide you step by step through the process.

Honestly, just mimic the basics - player movement (jumping), obstacles, and the level progression. The real fun is in tweaking the physics to match the 'feel' of Geometry Dash. Construct 2's behaviors and physics engine can help you get there. Plus, explore the Construct 2 community for already-made assets and examples!

IMHO, why reinvent the wheel? Geometry Dash's charm is its simplicity and music. Focus on those. Get your cube moving and jumping with simple controls and sync it all to an awesome beat. Construct 2's audio features will be your best friend here.

If you're a Geometry Dash player looking for extra stars or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Geometry Dash essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
