To make a Grappling Hook in Terraria, you gotta get yourself 15 Iron Bars or Lead Bars at an Anvil. Iron or Lead, doesn't matter, both work fine. Craft those bars into an Iron Chain, then add a Hook dropped by Skeletons or Piranhas to the mix, and boom! Grappling Hook is yours.

Just craft it? Why bother when you can sometimes get one straight out of a chest! Saves you the trouble.

You don't always have to craft one. Keep exploring and looting chests, especially in the underground. You might just find a Grappling Hook ready-made for grabs. It's like a treasure hunt, but the treasure is super handy for scaling cliffs and escaping pits!

Nah, crafting it is part of the fun! Plus, it's not that hard. Iron/Lead Bars + Chain + Hook from skeletons. Easy peasy.
