If you're down for a bit of DIY, you can create a shadow box display. Get a large frame and some foam board. Cut slots into the foam board to fit the wheels of your Hot Wheels cars, then fit it all into the frame. Hang it up and boom, art and organization in one.
Use magnetic strips! Just stick them to a wall or board and then you can stick your cars to them using their metal bodies. It's kind of like having your cars on a vertical race track, which is pretty awesome.
I turned an old spice rack into a display shelf for my collection, and it's perfect. The small shelves are just the right size for the cars, and it has a vintage vibe that I love.
Magnetic strips might sound cool, but honestly, they're not the best for heavier or more detailed models. Stick to shelves or cases unless you want your precious cars to take a dive.
