If you wanna see some real drift action, forget the tape and just find a slick surface. A kitchen counter or a smooth tabletop works way better. Tape? That's amateur hour.

Tape method works great for that makeshift drift action. I found using painter's tape is best since it's less sticky and doesn't leave residue on your wheels or damage them. Plus, you can color coordinate for added style points.

I've seen a lot of folks try different things, but honestly, a small loop of tape around the Hot Wheels' rear wheels does the trick. It's all about reducing that grip to get the slide. Plus, it's totally reversible if you decide drifting isn't for your Hot Wheel.
