To make invisible portals in Geometry Dash 2.1, what you wanna do is grab a portal you want to make invisible, then head over to the edit object menu. There, you'll find an opacity option. Slide that bad boy all the way down to 0%, and voila, you've got yourself an invisible portal! Just remember where you placed it though; it's invisible for everyone, including you.

Honestly, making portals invisible is kinda tricky at first. I remember trying it out and totally forgetting where I placed them. Just reduce the opacity, and you're golden. Makes for some really cool level design tricks, but don't overdo it, or your level will just confuse players more than anything!
Just set the portal's opacity to 0%. Boom, invisible!
