How to Make Mario from Super Mario 64 on Scratch
BeatingDebit·3 months agoBasically, upload a 2D image of Mario, then use event blocks for controls. You'll need to mimic Mario’s movements by changing his x and y coordinates.

Honestly, importing a sprite from the game and coding basic movements in Scratch should be enough to get you started.
I did this for my kid's project! Upload a sprite of Mario, then create scripts to make him move left, right, and jump using arrow keys and the space bar.
Start by uploading a sprite of Mario from Super Mario 64. Then, use Scratch's drag-and-drop programming to code his movements. For jumping, you can create a script that makes Mario move up when the space key is pressed and slowly fall back down.
