Honestly, trying to add aluminum foil to a Pokemon card yourself probably won't end up how you're imagining. Most at-home methods could damage the card or look pretty amateurish. But hey, if you're into DIY and just want to have fun, you could try sticking very thin aluminum foil carefully to the card's surface using a light adhesive. Make sure you're not covering up important details though! Or better yet, practice on a card you don't care about first.

Don't do it! You'll likely ruin the card and decrease its value, especially if it's a rare one. Just enjoy your cards as they are.

It's like trying to turn a cat into a unicorn. You can try, but is it worth it? Just get the cards you want and leave the DIY to arts and crafts time. I once tried adding glitter to a card and it was a disaster. Learn from my mistakes!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
