One option for making it look like you're walking is to strap your phone to a turntable or a Roomba. I've tried the turntable hack and it surprisingly worked, but it's a bit of a hassle.

Some players use apps that fake your GPS location, but that's risky business! Niantic can ban you for that, so it's not worth it.

The safest route is to keep playing the game as intended. Plus, the walking helps you get some steps in and is good exercise!

If you want Pokémon GO to walk by itself, you might try using an accessory like the Pokémon GO Plus or Poké Ball Plus. These devices let you spin PokéStops and catch Pokémon without needing to keep your phone screen on all the time. Just attach them, walk around, and they'll handle some of the work for you!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
