Easy peasy! To get the Merchant to move into your world in Terraria, you just need to gather a total of 50 silver coins. Once you've collected enough coins, make sure you've got a suitable house for him to live in. That means walls, a door, a table, a chair, and lighting. Do that, and he'll be knocking on your door in no time!
Been there, done that! I remember spending ages trying to figure this out when I first played. But yeah, collecting 50 silver coins does the trick. Also, that house needs to be up to code! Can't stress that enough. My first 'house' was more of a shack, and guess what? No merchant. So, build a proper house, and he'll move in.
