Just build it big enough and throw in some furniture. If the guide moves in, you’re golden.

Tbh, most of the 'valid housing' guides overcomplicate things. Just slap together some walls, a light, and a chair. If the game says it's good, then it's good. No need to make it a palace.

Easy peasy! To make valid housing in Terraria, you gotta make sure you tick all the boxes. First off, your room needs to be at least 60 tiles big but no more than 750, so monsters won’t think it’s a dance hall. You need walls, a chair, a table, and a light source to make it cozy. Don’t forget a door to keep the baddies out! And, very important, the background walls can't be those naturally occurring dirt ones; you gotta build 'em yourself or use purchased ones. If everything checks out, an NPC should be ready to move in and kick their feet up in no time!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
