Check your internet connection too! Sometimes it's not about how fast your game runs but how stable your connection is. A wired connection over WiFi can improve things a lot.

One thing that really helped me was turning on Valorant's 'Low Client FPS' option and tweaking my NVIDIA control panel settings specifically for Valorant. Made a huge difference without having to spend on upgrades.

Lowering your graphics settings is the first step to get Valorant running smoother. Drop down the resolution, turn off shadows, and reduce textures. Also, make sure to close any background apps that aren't necessary, they can eat up your CPU and RAM like there's no tomorrow. Lastly, update your graphics drivers and consider optimizing your PC's power settings for performance. Oh, and keeping your PC clean both inside (dust) and software-wise (malware) does wonders!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
