Making a wooden truck display for Hot Wheels is all about creativity and precision! First up, decide the size of the truck and how many cars it should hold. I sketched my design on paper including a flatbed to hold rows of cars. Used pine wood for the body because it's easy to cut and sand. For the shelves where the cars sit, make sure they're evenly spaced. I added a clear acrylic top so my cars stay dust-free but still visible. Don't forget to sand everything smooth and give it a nice varnish or paint job for that sleek finish!

Just buy a pre-made wooden display shelf and modify it to look like a truck. Much easier and saves time.

I built one with my kid, we used balsa wood since it's lightweight and easy to work with. Cut out the truck shape, added shelves spaced out to fit Hot Wheels cars, and painted it bright red. The best part? Customizing the truck's design with stickers and decals to make it look like a race transporter!
