Just be aggressive with Jett. She's designed for that. Dash in, get a kill, dash out. But, remember, timing is key. You dash in at the wrong time, and you're toast. Also, her smoke can be a real game changer if you learn to place it right.
Honestly, mastering Jett is 90% about your mechanical skills. If you can't aim, you can't really utilize her full potential. Work on your aim first.
