In my experience, keeping a few roostros and plenty of hens in each coop does wonders. Roostros are the key to more chicks and eventually more chickens!
Pro tip: keep 1-2 roostros with a bunch of hens for a constant chicken supply. Too many roostros, and they get all competitive and stressed out, no more babies!
