Actually, timing's everything. You can't milk them everyday. Give 'em a day off now and then, or you'll just get the 'no milk' message.
Milking a cow in Stardew Valley is pretty straightforward! First, make sure you have a cow that's at least an adult and in a good mood. You'll also need a milk pail. Just equip the pail, approach the cow, and click on the cow with the pail selected. Boom! You've got milk!
