To mine corrupted stone in Terraria, you're gonna need something a bit tougher than your basic pickaxe because that won't scratch it. Grab yourself a Nightmare Pickaxe or anything better. Nightmare Pickaxes are crafted from Demonite Ore and Shadow Scales, which you get from beating the Eater of Worlds. If you're in a Crimson world, then the Deathbringer Pickaxe, made from Crimtane Ore and Tissue Samples from the Brain of Cthulhu, works just as well. Both of these pickaxes can bust through corrupted stone like it's butter!

Just use bombs, lol. They blow up corrupted stones real good without needing fancy tools.

Honestly, the easiest way to deal with corrupted blocks is to not mine them at all. Purify them first with Purification Powder from the Dryad, then mine them with whatever pickaxe you've got. Saves time and effort!
