Just open the screen mirroring settings on your Roku, then use your phone's screen mirroring feature to connect!
I do this all the time! On your Roku: Settings > System > Screen Mirroring. On Android: Settings > Display > Cast. On iPhone: go to Control Center and tap Screen Mirroring.
