Honestly, just get SMAPI and follow the instructions on their site. It's the easiest way to mod Stardew Valley, hands down.

I've modded Stardew Valley to oblivion and back. Best advice? Use SMAPI, and always, ALWAYS back up your save files before you start. Mods are fantastic but can get messy if you're not careful.

Modding Stardew Valley on Steam is pretty straightforward! First, you'll want to download the Steam version of Stardew Valley, obviously. Then, grab a mod manager like Vortex or the ever-popular SMAPI (Stardew Modding API) to help you install and manage your mods. You can find mods on sites like Nexus Mods. Just download the mods you want, use SMAPI to install them, and you're good to go! Make sure to follow each mod's instructions carefully for the best results.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
