How to Open a Funko Pop Without Damaging the Box
The trick is all in the flap at the bottom of the box. Use a credit card or something thin and rigid to slide under the flap's lip to gently lift it without creasing. Work your way slowly around the edges until it pops open. This way, you can slide your Funko Pop out without tearing or crushing the box!

Just tear into it, who keeps the box anyway? The true joy is in the Pop, not the packaging.
Seriously, patience is key. I've opened dozens this way for my collection. Slide a butter knife very gently under the bottom flap to lift it without damage. Opening from the bottom also keeps the box looking pristine if you're displaying.
Listen, don't sweat the box too much. It's what's inside that counts, plus, unless you've got a super rare Funko, the box isn't going to make or break the value much.
