Start by powering off and unplugging your Xbox Series X. Grab a T8 Torx screwdriver to remove the screws on the back panel. Once inside, use compressed air to gently blow out any dust. Be careful not to touch any internal components!

Honestly, just use a vacuum on the vents. No need to open it unless you have a serious dust problem.

Unplug your Xbox Series X and let it cool down. Use a vacuum with a brush attachment on the vents. For deeper cleaning, use a Torx screwdriver to detach the outer shell and carefully dust inside with compressed air.

From my experience, the best way is to regularly vacuum the outside vents and use a microfiber cloth. If you do open it, just be very gentle with the components inside.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
