Honestly, just walk up to it and press a button. If it doesn't open, it's not a crate you can open, or you need to finish off those pesky mutants first.

Sometimes crates are sneaky and look like they can be opened but can't. Best way to know? Walk up and press that action key. If nothing happens, move on鈥攊t鈥檚 just part of the d茅cor.

Just smash the interact key and BAM, loot galore. No keys or puzzles, just good ol' Fallout scavenging.

Opening crates in Fallout 76 is super straightforward - just walk up to one and press the interact button. On PC, that's usually the 'E' key, on PS4 it's the 'X' button, and on Xbox One, it's the 'A' button. Make sure you're not in combat or too far away, and voila, crate opened!

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
