Just wait 'til you get the Alohomora spell, and those level 1 locks won't stand a chance. It's all about progressing through the story; can't miss it.

Honestly, I just smash at the controls until something happens. Worked for me so far, but I hear there's this spell called Alohomora or something for the more refined approach?

Opening level 1 locks in Hogwarts Legacy is a piece of cake once you get the Alohomora spell! You'll learn this spell as part of the storyline, so just keep pushing through your quests. Once you've got it, just approach a lock, cast Alohomora, and voila, you're in! Remember, the spell gets upgraded later, so those pesky higher level locks will eventually open up for you too.

If you're a Hogwarts Legacy player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
