Opening your mailbox in Animal Crossing is super easy! Just walk up to your mailbox outside your home, then press the 'A' button on your Nintendo Switch controller. A notification usually pops up when you have new mail. Happy mail collecting!

Quick tip: Make sure you're facing the mailbox directly or else you might end up picking flowers or shaking trees by accident instead. Just point your character towards the mailbox and press 'A'.

Honestly, just hit 'A' when you're near it. If you've played any game before, it's pretty much what you'd expect.

I was confused at first lol, but yeah, just press 'A' while you're standing in front of it. First time I got mail from Tom Nook, felt like Christmas morning.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
