I always use a butter knife to gently pry open the lid of my Funko Pop boxes. Worked like a charm for my limited edition Sonic figure, and no damage to the box!

Start by carefully sliding your fingers or a flat object under the lid's edges. You wanna lift the lid evenly, avoiding any rough moves that might damage the box or the figure.
