First thing you gotta do is remove the faceplate by sticking your fingers in the USB port and pulling it off gently. Easy peasy!

Use a flat tool (like a spudger) to pop off the side panels, then proceed to unscrew the case. There are hidden screws under the rubber feet!

Why open it? Just get a new one. It's 2023, fam!

Pry off the faceplate, unscrew the screws, and carefully separate the halves. Done this a million times, trust me.

After taking off the faceplate, you'll need to press the small tabs inside the top and bottom of the console to release the plastic grilles, then the screws are revealed.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
