From personal experience, start by detaching the faceplate. Then, use a small tool to release the tabs on the side panels. Finally, unscrew the screws to open the case. Be mindful of static discharge!

First, unplug your Xbox 360 and remove any external hard drives or accessories. Then, use a flathead screwdriver to carefully pop off the side panels. Once those are off, unscrew the screws to access the internals. Be gentle with the clips and connectors!
