First, make sure you have a Torx T6 screwdriver. Remove the screws located under the grips and behind the rear paddles. Carefully pry open the casing using a plastic tool to avoid scratches.

You gotta have a Torx T6 screwdriver. Unscrew the back, then gently pry off the grips using a plastic opening tool. Voila, you're in!

Opening an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller isn鈥檛 for the faint-hearted! Start by removing the screws hidden under the grips鈥攗se a plastic pry tool to gently lift them. After that, unscrew the visible Torx screws and carefully separate the shell. Happy tinkering!

Torx T6 is your magic wand. Screw it out, pry it open. Boom.

Just get a Torx T6 and some patience. Unscrew it and pry it open.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
