Set up port forwarding on your router. Open the ports 88 (UDP), 3074 (UDP/TCP), 53 (UDP/TCP), 80 (TCP), 500 (UDP), 3544 (UDP), 4500 (UDP), and you're golden. It sounds like a lot, but it's worth it!

I had the same issue and fixed it by putting my console in a DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) on my router's settings. Not the safest option, but it worked like a charm!

Just enable UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) on your router. It automagically handles the ports and everything.

Honestly, sometimes you just need to restart your modem and router. It鈥檚 the classic IT fix, but it works more often than you'd think.

Go to Settings > General > Network settings > Advanced settings, and then select 'Alternate port selection.' Choose a different port and see if it resolves your issue. Happy gaming!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
