As someone who can't handle the heat, I always order butter chicken or korma and explicitly say 'mild, please.' Works every time!
Just ask for it 'non-spicy' when ordering. You can also go for dishes like butter chicken, palak paneer, or malai kofta.
Honestly, just ask. Indian restaurants are super accommodating to spice tolerance!
