Sadly, there's no fast-forward button for night-time. Stock up on supplies and ride it out in a safe spot.
You just have to wait it out. Nighttime is part of the challenge.
You can't skip the night in State of Decay 2. Best bet is to hunker down and make use of your base's facilities until dawn.
