I found the best way to pick locks in Starfield was to always have a good supply of digipicks and keep upgrading my Security skill. The mini-game can be tricky at first, but you get the hang of it quickly!

You'll need to find digipicks and upgrade your Security skill. Approach the lock, start the mini-game and align the rings. Easy peasy!

Lockpicking in Starfield is all about having the right skills and lockpicks! First, invest skill points into the Security skill. Then you'll need digipicks to actually do the lockpicking. When you find a locked item, approach it and use your digipick. A mini-game will start, and you'll need to align the rotating rings to unlock the item. Practice makes perfect โ€“ happy looting!
