Equip the hammer, right-click to bring up the build menu, and find the campfire under the 'Misc' tab. Place it where you want it, and voila - instant warmth!
Literally, just click the hammer, select the campfire, and put it where you need it. Done and done.
To place a campfire in Valheim, open your hammer menu, select the campfire, and find a flat spot on the ground. Just make sure there's enough space and no flammable materials nearby!
Find a safe spot away from your wooden structures, select the campfire from the build menu, and plop it down! Trust me, nobody wants a surprise bonfire. Learned that the hard way!
