When you're on your ship, use the 'Transfer' option in your inventory to move items to the cargo hold. You'll be good to go!
Literally just walk to your ship, open the cargo hold interface, and dump your stuff in there. Easy peasy!
All you gotta do is open the cargo hold panel when you're on your ship and transfer items by dragging and dropping them.
Open your ship's inventory, find the 'cargo hold' section, and just transfer your items from your personal stash. Simple!
