Planting the bomb in Valorant, known as the Spike, is super simple but strategic! First, make sure you're the attacker and you have the Spike. Head over to either the A or B site (sometimes there's a C, depends on the map). When you're in the bomb site, press and hold the '4' key on your keyboard until the planting process completes. A tip: listen for the beeps to speed up, that means you're close to finishing! But watch your back, because the defenders will be rushing to stop you!

As a Sage main, I always find a sneaky corner to plant the Spike. Sometimes, I tell my team to cause a distraction at the other site. Works like a charm more often than not. The key is to be unpredictable and have a plan before you even grab the Spike.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
