Planting mushroom trees in Terraria is all about setting the right environment. First, you gotta get some Mushroom Grass Seeds, which you can find by cutting down glowing mushrooms in a Mushroom biome. Then, find yourself a nice spot in the Dirt or Mud and plant those seeds. But here's the catch, those mushroom trees only grow in the Mushroom biome, so make sure your spot is in or you turn it into one by spreading enough Mushroom Grass around. Patience is key, as these funky fungi take their sweet time to grow.

Just toss some Mushroom Grass Seeds on Mud and wait. It's not rocket science, but make sure it's in a Mushroom biome or you're just gardening for nothing.

Actually, growing mushroom trees ain't worth the hassle. Just find a Mushroom biome and you'll have all the mushrooms you could ever want. Why bother farming?
