How to play Apex Legends in stretched resolution
AlightingTang路8 months agoPlaying Apex Legends with a stretched resolution can give you a slight advantage since it makes targets appear larger, albeit at the cost of visual quality. First, you'll have to adjust your computer's display settings. Right-click on the desktop, go to Display Settings, and then set your desired resolution. After that, you need to tweak the game's settings file. Navigate to where Apex Legends is installed, find the settings file (usually in a 'cfg' folder), and manually change the resolution settings to match what you set on your desktop. Remember, you might have to adjust it again if the game updates!

Just don't. Stretched res might make enemies easier to hit, but it kills the beauty of the game. Apex Legends has stunning graphics, why would you wanna downgrade that? Plus, it's not like it turns you into a pro overnight.
Been playing stretched since season 2 and trust me, it changes the game. Head to your graphics card control panel and set a custom resolution. Then adjust the game file. It's a bit of a hassle but so worth it if you're competitive.
