Just can't do it in certain modes, but it's perfect for duos and squads! Sign in both players, go to Battle Royale lobby, and press 'Y' on the second controller.
Only available for Battle Royale Duos and Squads, BTW. No split-screen for solo or creative modes sadly.
Super easy! Just launch Fortnite, and once you're in the lobby, connect a second controller. Have the second player sign in, and then hold down the button on their controller to join the game. Boom, split-screen action!
Okay, here's what you do: 1. Log in with your main account and start Fortnite. 2. Turn on the second controller and sign in with a second Xbox account. 3. Hold the A button on the second controller to join the party. Ready up and you're good to go!
