Keep switching defenders to match up with your opponent's best players. Anticipate their moves and don't be afraid to use zone defense if you're struggling in man-to-man!

Use the intense-D button (usually left trigger) to stay close to your opponent and cut off their driving lanes. Timing your steals (right bumper) and blocks (Y button) also helps a lot!

Don't spam the steal button! You'll get a lot of fouls. Stay patient and use the right stick to contest shots without jumping.

If you're a NBA 2K player looking for extra VCs or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in  NBA 2K essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
