You can't play online in State of Decay 2 without friends who can deal with your panicky screaming. Trust me, I've tried.
Make sure you've got Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass Ultimate if you're on Xbox. Then just follow the instructions in the multiplayer menu!
State of Decay 2's multiplayer is pretty straightforward. Just open the multiplayer tab from the game's menu and invite your friends. No rocket science here!
Go to the in-game options, enable multiplayer, then either host a session or join a friend鈥檚 game. Happy zombie hunting!
