Super easy! Just open your radio menu and select 'Volunteer'. This lets you join another player's game. If you want friends to join your game, use the multiplayer options to invite them directly. Happy zombie smashing!

From my experience, you just go to the multiplayer menu and invite your buddies. Or hop into their game via the radio menu. Teamwork makes the zombies re-dead!
You can play online co-op by inviting friends through the multiplayer menu. Open the radio menu and choose 'Volunteer' if you want to join someone else's game. Enjoy the apocalypse!
