To play against your friends in Marvel Snap, you both need to reach Collection Level 18 first. Once you're there, tap on the 'Friends' icon in the bottom right corner of the main screen. From there, you can add your friend by their in-game name or connect through linked social media accounts. Then, simply click on their name and hit 'Challenge' to start the match!
