Honestly, just hit up the 'Training' mode, pick your character, and practice those inputs until you nail 'em every time.
To get better at fatalities, I usually just mess around in 'Versus' with a second controller. No stress, just practice!
You can always pause mid-game, check the moves list, and practice in a private match! That's what I do when my friends ain't around.
