You can adjust your privacy settings to review tags before they appear on your timeline. Go to Settings -> Timeline and Tagging -> Review.
Just go into your Facebook settings and tweak the Timeline and Tagging options. You can decide who can tag you and who can see tags.
You can't completely prevent it, but you can set up tag review so you can approve or deny tags before they show up. It鈥檚 pretty handy!
Why would you want to prevent being tagged? Just embrace it. Let the world know you were there!
