Just whack some tall grass with your scythe! But remember, no Silo, no hay storage. You'll just be cuttin' grass for fun at that point.

To make hay in Stardew Valley, you just need to cut down grass with your scythe. Make sure you have a Silo to store it in first, though. The Silo automatically collects the hay you cut.

I learned the hard way: Build a Silo BEFORE you go on a grass-chopping spree. Otherwise, it's like throwing money away. Get that Silo, then chop away, and your hay will stack up, no problem!

Don鈥檛 bother with hay if you don鈥檛 have animals or a Silo. It鈥檚 all about planning. Get a Silo, then turn your farm into a haymaking paradise.

To produce hay? Easy. Silo first, party with your scythe later. No silo = no hay. Simple as that.
