You have to redeem your Microsoft Points for an Xbox Live Gold subscription directly through the Xbox store. Just head to the Xbox console or the Microsoft Store online, find the Xbox Live Gold subscription, and choose to pay with your Microsoft account balance. Easy peasy!

Nah, you can't use Microsoft Points directly anymore. They've been rolled into Microsoft account balance. Just convert your points and use your balance to buy Xbox Live.

Speaking from experience, once you鈥檝e redeemed your points into your Microsoft account, you can use those funds to purchase Xbox Live Gold through your console or the Microsoft Store website. It's straightforward, just like buying any other game or DLC.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
