Walk up to your bed, equip your blocks, and then just aim and click on top of it. Remember to cover all sides!

Easy peasy! Just select the block you want, stand near your bed, and click to place it. Boom, bed protected!

I always make sure to have plenty of wool or endstone ready. Just stand next to your bed, select the block, and start clicking to place it right over your bed.
