First, turn off your PS4 completely. Then, press and hold the power button until you hear two beeps: one when you first press and another about seven seconds later. Connect your controller with a USB cable and press the PS button.

Turn off the PS4 totally. Hold the power button until you hear two beeps (around seven seconds). Connect the controller via USB and hit the PS button.

If it were me, I'd just hold the power button for seven seconds after turning the PS4 off. The two beeps are your friends!

Make sure your PS4 is fully powered down. Then, hold the power button until you hear two beeps (this takes about 7 seconds). Finally, plug in your controller via USB and press the PS button.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
