To convert from slope-intercept form (y=mx+b) to standard form (Ax+By=C), rearrange it to Ax + By = C, where A, B, and C are integers, and A should be positive if possible. Start by getting x and y on the left side of the equation, and voila! Standard form achieved!

Just move the mx to the left as -mx and you're almost there; multiply everything by any denominators to clear fractions, make sure A is positive, and you'll have it in standard form.

As someone who's done this more times than I can count, a quick tip: don't forget to multiply through by something to get rid of fractions鈥攎akes life much easier!

Y'all, it鈥檚 simple! Just isolate the variables on one side and make A an integer. Done and dusted!
